This notice explains what Institute Console stores on your device when you use the website at app.instituteconsole.com or the mobile app. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What we store, and why
Institute Console uses only what it needs to work and to keep your account safe. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising tools.
- Sign-in and security. Session tokens and related security values that keep you signed in and protect against forged requests. Without them you could not use the service. On the mobile app these are held in your device's secure storage.
- Your choices. Preferences such as language, theme, the Institute and branch you last used, and whether you finished the introduction screens.
- Temporary performance data. Short-lived copies of screens or lists so pages open quickly.
- Crash reports. If the app crashes, an anonymous report (error message, app version, device type) may be sent so we can fix the fault. It carries no name, email or session identifier.
Consent
These items are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so they are not optional and we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
Third parties
When a page or screen shows a map, Google Maps receives the technical details of the request, such as your IP address and device information, under Google's Privacy Policy. Network protection by Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell real visitors from automated attacks.
How long they last
Sign-in values expire automatically after a period of inactivity or when you sign out. Preferences stay until you clear them. You can remove everything at any time by signing out, clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app.
Controlling storage
Most browsers let you view, block or delete stored data in their settings. Blocking the items above will stop sign-in from working. On Android and iOS you can clear the app's storage in system settings.
